West Nile Virus positive mosquito samples and high mosquito population numbers continue to be reported today across western Placer County.
Adult Mosquito Control Operations Planned
Adult mosquitoes from three areas of western Placer County, Sheridan, Critter Creek Rd., and the area near Locust Road at Baseline Road, have tested positive for West Nile Virus.
West Nile Virus Widespread in Western Placer County
Ten new West Nile Virus positive mosquito samples were reported today across western Placer County. Areas most affected are: North Lincoln, Sheridan, Western Roseville along Dry Creek, and the agricultural areas along the Placer-Sutter County border.
